Founding eje Studio™

Ebrahim Jaffar established eje Studio™ in 2015 as a creative platform specialized in crafting brand identities based on detailed Arab market research. The studio’s vision is based on integrating Arabic cultural identity into modern design frameworks that meet international professional standards.
The studio follows a comprehensive approach, starting with brand strategy and extending to the design of complete visual and digital systems. This ensures the creation of unique brands that are culturally rooted, commercially effective, and relevant to their target audience.
First Freehand Arabic Calligrapher via Mouse

Ebrahim’s work in “Freehand Arabic Calligraphy” began with a critical approach to the use of classical fonts in commercial branding, which often felt too rigid for contemporary projects. Starting in 2010, he experimented with new ways to create expressive calligraphy digitally and developed a method for constructing freehand Arabic calligraphy using a computer mouse in Adobe Illustrator—becoming the first Arabic calligrapher in the Middle East to pioneer this approach.

What started as a creative solution evolved into a structured training methodology. This approach has been shared through intensive workshops across several Arab countries, engaging designers and official institutions. As his influence expands, Ebrahim continues to receive invitations to share his expertise in new capitals and cities looking to adopt this innovative visual philosophy.
